The Youth Network for River Action (YNRA) is a network gathering more than 20 environmental organisations throughout Europe. We raise awareness on water degradation, and strengthen the youth voice in front of policy-makers.

Our maxime: We are borrowing water from future generations!

We act for the protection of water with our international summer camps and local actions. This is not only for the rivers but also in the rivers, … because water is fun!

YNRA was born in 2015 during the Big Jump Challenge which culminated in Brussels, where our river ambassadors presented a the first Youth Manifesto for water protection at the European Parliament. After what, we also visited the German Parliamant and the House of the European Union in Slovenia to present our demands. In “past actions" you can learn more on our previous campaigns.

In 2018, the review of the European Water Framework Directive will also get our full attention … don’t wait to see what we plan to do and how you can get active in this major event for water in Europe! Click here: The 2018 Water Framework Directive Campaign
